Borderlands 1 has a cool post-apocalyptic frontier setting and is pretty fun, also short so it is not a huge time commitment. Average rating: 5.0. I think Borderlands 2 has the best story, characters, enemies and Boss, Borderlands 1 has the best atmosphere and Borderlands 3 has the best guns (apart from Maliwan, which I think are better in BL2) and vehicles.
